This week's exchange opportunities:

*As one member kindly noted, wow! What a range of opportunities here- whether you want to go to the theatre, do a little bit of gardening, crafting, or give someone a lift, lots of available opportunities. Now we just need some takers! If you want more information on any item, please let me know. *

Offer: Cambridgeshire area Timebanks have been offered an opportunity for members to see a live theatre performance of The Wind in the Willows for the cost of 2 time credits per ticket.Whether this event goes forward depends on interest- if you're interested please let me know ASAP, including if you have a preference as to potential dates: Thu 12 Dec @7pm, Sat 14 Dec @11am, Mon 16 Dec @6pm, Fri 27 @7pm or Sat 28 Dec @7pm. If you don't have the time credits yourself please don't let that be a barrier, we have a solution for that, so just let me know if you're interested.

Administrative housekeeping request: If you participate in an ongoing member to member exchange that originated through the Timebank, please let me know. It's key to whether the Timebank's liability coverage extends to you, and also important for measuring our Timebank's activity. Thank you!

Request: Cakes for upcoming coffee morning on 23 October.

Request: Member needs assistance with painting two ceilings she can't reach (she does have a step ladder, extender pole, etc, but is on the shorter side). She will have everything moved out of the way and is not looking for a professional result (consistent with our Timebanking rules) - just would like some help making it a bit tidier.

Request: Member requests some help with tidying her garden. You can limit your time here- to one hour or two hours as you like!

Request: LAST CALL!  Leaflet delivery needed for Timebank materials to Timebank members. For those of you who have undertaken this thus far, thank you, truly!  We still need some additional delivery. . After this request we will send by post the items left for the routes that no one volunteered for, but that's not our preference, for budget and environmental reasons. If you can help, it is appreciated. The remaining routes are:

6 addresses on Houghton Hill (est. time - 25 minutes by driving from leaflet pickup and returning to village, 60 minutes if walking)

4 addresses on Farm Close, St. Ives Rd, and The Lanes (est. time - 20 minutes, walking from pickup)

13 addresses – Thicket Road, Mill Street, Chapel Lane (est. time - 30 minutes, walking from pickup)

10 addresses - The Orchards, and Huntingdon Road (est. time - 25 minutes, walking from pickup)

5 addresses - Manor Close, Splash Lane, Townsend Close (est. time - 20 minutes, walking from pickup)

6 addresses – Wyton on the Hill (est. time - 45 minutes, driving from pickup and returning to village)

3 addresses – Hartford (est. time - 25 minutes, driving from pickup and returning to village).

Request: Occasional assistance needed to provide company for Alzheimer patient in home while primary caregiver attends their own medical appointments. This can be split into short 2 hour shifts. If this is something you are willing to do, pending your availability, please let me know and I will add you to a list of potential volunteers to be notified when the need arises. No special skills or experience needed here; I volunteered for this myself and had a lovely time sitting with a lovely woman. Another volunteer or two to add to the roster would be great.

Request: Calling all crafters, even the self proclaimed unskilled type! Timebankers are needed to help with a craft project for the primary school's Christmas Fayre. They are making hedgehog books, and if you can fold a piece of paper, you can do this. You can make these on your own for now, and later we will coordinate a crafting afternoon with the kids to make some together. Contact me for more details, to let me know your interest, and to get supplies. Thanks to those who have let me know of their interest thus far- I'm just waiting on a few more people to step up and then will send out a group email to you. Coming soon, I promise!!
